Frequently asked questions about safety

Should I use the Withings Body Cardio if I wear a pacemaker?

No, you should not use the Withings Body Cardio if you wear a pacemaker or other internal medical device. The Withings Body Cardio circulates a small electrical signal in your body to perform some of its measurements such as fat mass, which may interfere with a pacemaker or other medical device.

Note: If you already own the Withings Body Cardio and wish to keep it you can use it as long as you disable the body fat measurements from the Dashboard. You can do so from the Withings Health Mate app.

Should I use my scale while I am pregnant?

There is no known risks associated with pregnant women using Withings scales.

Note: When you deactivate the fat mass measurement, it is deactivated for all the users of all accounts that are linked to the scale.
