I'm having syncing issues. What should I do?

This article will help you if you encounter any of the following issues:

- Your Withings Steel HR doesn't sync with the Withings Health Mate app
- Your Withings Steel HR doesn't display the correct time

 


 

Your Withings Steel HR doesn't sync with the Withings Health MateⓇ app

If your Withings Steel HR doesn't sync with the Withings Health Mate app:

  1. Make sure that your Withings Steel HR appears in My devices in the Withings Health Mate app.
    If not, you need to install it.
  2. Tap the Withings Activité widget at the top of your Timeline to force the Withings Health Mate app to communicate with your Withings Steel HR.



    You'll know that the connection with your Withings Steel HR has been established when you can access the alarm selection screen. Your data should then start syncing.
  3. If your Withings Steel HR is not installed on the main user profile of your account, log out from the app and then log back in with the correct user profile.
  4. If necessary, try to turn off Bluetooth on your mobile device and then turn it back on.
  5. If you're using an iOS device, make sure your Withings Steel HR is displayed in the Bluetooth settings of your device.
    If not, the Withings Health Mate app should prompt you to pair your watch when you open the app.

Android users may have to change the permissions of the app to be able to connect via BLE. To do so, go to Settings > Apps > Withings > Permissions and enable Location.

Your Withings Steel HR doesn't display the correct time

If your Withings Steel HR doesn't display the correct time, try to recalibrate the hands of your Withings Steel HR.

If that doesn't fix the issue, it may be due to a low battery, in which case you should charge the battery.
