I'm having issues with notifications. What should I do?

If you don't get notifications on your Withings Steel HR, make sure that the Notifications option is enabled in the Withings Health Mate app. Click here for more information.

At present, the Withings Steel HR can receive notifications for incoming calls, text messages, and calendar events. Note that we are working to make other notifications available in the future, especially those from social media apps.

iOS users

If you still don't receive notifications, make sure that notifications for Messages are activated on your phone. To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
  2. Select Messages.
    Check if Allow Notifications is turned on.

Android users

If you still don't receive notifications, make sure that the Withings Health Mate app has access to certain permissions on your phone. Note that the Withings Health Mate app needs access to these permissions to enable the display of notifications on your Withings Steel HR.

You can also try to unpair your Withings Steel HR from your phone's Bluetooth. To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the right icon next to Withings Steel HR.
  3. Select Unpair.
